When you’re looking to fly into the City by the Bay, you have the choice of three airports in the area: San Francisco International Airport (SFO), Oakland International Airport (OAK), and Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC). SFO is located 13 miles south of downtown, OAK sits 21 miles southeast of the city across the bay, while SJC is 45 miles southeast of San Francisco. SFO and OAK airports are often the most popular choices because of their close proximity to the San Francisco, California, attractions.
If you’ve booked flights to San Francisco through SFO, you’ll find a number of on-site amenities at the terminals. Fuel your hunger at one of the many cafes, fast food places, and restaurants, and then get your retail fix at the various designer boutiques, book stores, and souvenir shops. The SFO terminals even feature Kids’ Spots, where your little ones can burn off some energy before their next flight. For additional information about San Francisco Int. Airport, check out Flights.com.
Similar to SFO, OAK and SJC offer a number of food and beverage options, including on-the-go stations and sit-down restaurants. These airport terminals also include newsstands and souvenir shops for in-flight entertainment and last-minute gifts.
Once you’ve chosen an airport and booked your plane tickets to San Francisco, it’s easy to arrive at your final destination. In terms of public transportation, SamTrans services SFO, and OAK is a stop on the AC Transit and the Amtrak lines. Very happy overall, it was quick and easy
The WiFI was terrible!
Small jet, but a very friendly staff and pilot with the smoothest flight I have ever had! The pilot had a great send of humor which you seldom hear anymore over the intercom, it was soothing and made it wonderful for people like me who are nervous flyers. Staff friendly and helpful. I don't usually care for Delta but I must admit, they have the best staff of all the airlines by far!
On time, great staff & crew
There were no snacks. Don't like. There was no milk. Don't like. The wifi on board don't work. No internet.
Awesome flight crew ! First time flying on Alaska we will def fly with you again.
I don't like getting nickeled and dimed to death with charges for my seat assignments and checked bags. Charge me once and be done with it. I should be able to pick my seats at booking time when booking on Expedia or Kayak and not have to pay extra when I'm choosing my seats when checking in on line. Other than that I was pretty pleased with all four flights. Thanks. Paul Koojoolian
Thank God for safe landing and arrival. He has blessed me throughout my trip. I'm thankful and grateful for such an awesome GOD!
My flight was smooth during both landing and take off❣️
I love it
