We were charged about the same as a 2 bedroom condo, but we got a small hotel room with no ocean view, a tiny refrigerator, and no microwave. They have set it up to where you have no real choice but to purchase valet parking. The self parking parking lot is over a quarter of a mile away from your room. I decided to just get a cart at check in and take our stuff to the room; nope, the valet guys said you have to use valet to get the cart service. I have stayed at various places in Gulf Shores / Orange beach for 50 years and have never seen anything like this happen

The hotel truly does offer anything you need in order to relax and never have to leave: beautiful views, beach access, bar, restaurants, pool. The parking situation is very inconvenient. Self-park requires a very long walk and there were no handicapped parking options in self parking. Valet parking has handicapped parking spots but no one informed us of this until later in our stay. We were also not informed that valet parking is free for handicapped individuals until I complained to staff who told us we were not supposed to walk on the sand between the hotel and parking lot. I was told that "there used to be signs but they were torn down by guests". Also, for those with limited mobility, it is important that you know that the walk to access the elevators is quite long. This is a beautiful hotel with great amenities but the hotel needs to address easier access for those with mobility issues. From other reviews, it seems that the t.v. Issue we encountered is common, so it would also be helpful to guests and staff if that was addressed upon check-in.
