My husband and I stayed here for a week. We booked late in the high season and this was one of the last places remaining. Should’ve been a sign but we took a chance since it had good reviews. We had disappointments from the start. * Photos weren’t representative. Place is much more bare bones. * Unit has very thin walls. You can hear all the surrounding neighbors clearly. Food trucks outside the bldg play music till close to midnight. Garbage trucks runs early in the morning. * Parking was listed as an amenity. Be aware there is very limited parking and it’s $25/nt if you can get a spot. We had to find other more costly options when it wasn’t available. * Monthly water maintenance. The building shuts the water down every last Wednesday morning of the month. We found out only with a poster in the elevator. * WiFi and TV was unreliable. * Shower water was tepid. * No pride of ownership - place recently remodeled and it was apparent that the lowest cost options were chosen. Paint flakes were still outside the door when we arrived. * Worst - plumbing backed up during our last night. Two maintenance guys came over but couldn’t fix it as appeared to be installed incorrectly. There was sewer smelling water from the tub which leaked in throughout the unit. The property management was responsive when I texted however a lot of the issues really couldn’t be resolved. We were compensated one night for the plumbing problems. It was still definitely not worth the price. Hate to say, but I would not recommend this place to anyone that wants to enjoy their time in Hawaii.
