      3/5

The best thing about our room was a clean and comfortable bed, refrigerator to store our water and drinks, oversized soaking tub and housekeeper Alena was very friendly. Also, the fact that this is a no smoking facility. The floors were very dirty and we didn't have full towels set for the room, just 2 shower towels; no shower mat, no hand towels. No plastic cups in bathroom for toothbrushing ever arrived. Since the room has a full kitchen, perhaps they just expect you to use a kitchen glass, which we did. Food(chips) on carpet when we arrived and dirty in front of couch that needs cleaning. Oversized tub needed my cleaning before use. Blackout curtains in the bedroom had holes in the liner so peeps of light showed through. Alarm clock went off at 6:00am- lesson learned, maybe that is guest responsibility, not housekeeping. We asked the front desk about walking to the Aria and they said probably 45 minutes..no tips on how to get there or even to the strip. We learned we could walk through Bally's and Paris, and be at the strip in 10-15 minutes. (outside all the way an option too, but dirty sidewalk, warmer temp and occasional homeless) There is a tram from Bellagio to Aria, so I think they just aren't well trained. Also, the bellman said we could probably get a ride to the Aria in the house towncar. I asked for confirmation, he said it would be ok. We came downstairs to catch it and...it had left. Overall with the 4-star rating, we had higher expectations.
