    5/5 Excellent

Absolutely best option for staying in Rome. Marco, the owner of b&b is super kind and nice, and creates a very chill atmosphere... Fantastic location, one block away from the Vatican. Walkable distance to the east bnank of the Tiber, where most of the interesting sights are..

Great value, great hospitality, great stay

Marco is a wonderful host––personable and kind. He went out to buy be a fresh croissant every morning. The room was very comfortable and very clean. Excellent value for sure! I have spent close to a year in Rome with all of my visits combined and I would consider this to be the best of all the locations (in terms of location in the city) of all my accommodations. Here's an insider, pro-tip: the best (and I mean *the best*) pizzeria in the entire city is right across the street from this place. The pizzeria is called Pizza Zizza. So that is an extra perk of this excellent place to stay. Otherwise, you can walk to St. Peter's square in two to three minutes, to Trastevere in about twenty, cross the Tiber in about 10, or grab a bus anywhere else from a stop about 90 seconds away. The only downsides are these: WiFi did not reach to my room (it tends to work in the kitchen) and the curtains in the room are too light, but I have told the owner about this and I expect he'll change the curtains so they provide a darker environment when needed. On the plus side, the bed was very large (I think it was a king, which is rare to find in Rome, especially for this price). The bathroom was in the room and very adequate. You feel like a real citizen of Rome when you stay here.
