Northern Light Balloons will take you for a sunrise float over Sedona. Filling the balloons and lift off was really fun, but I found the floating around to be a bit freaky and I'm not afraid of heights. The kids liked it, but we wish we brought earplugs for them because the burners are loud. Expensive- $195 pp for 1 hour flight plus breakfast. #canyonballrun2013 -
This is down a path by the river the road is right above this shot. Sedona is such a unique and beautiful place. #roadtrip #waterlust -
During a near fullmoon, the landscape of Sedona Arizona glows under the stars of night. A long exposure created the ethereal mood, a view which can’t be seen with the naked eye. By Matt Anderson photography -
Hiking the Teacup Trail. About a mile loop, flat, awesome views and great for kids. #canyonballrun2013 -
There are a lot of strange names for the rock formations in Sedona, but I don't see how they could have called this anything else. ( #blue ) -
Buddha Beach on the property of the Crescent Moon Ranch. There's an entrance fee of $9.00 to access this huge swath of land, which offers views of Cathedral Rock and long stretches of gentle creek water available for swimming, wading or just sitting quietly and clearing your thoughts. I don't think the words "Buddha Beach" can be found on any official map, but it's fairly obvious where people got the name. -

The plaque reads: The Lord is risen to you indeed. Peace be unto you. Luke 34:34,36 Shrine of the Red Rocks Dedicated Easter Sunrise April 2, 1961 By Hon. Barry Goldwater United States Senator, Arizona Masons of Verde Valley, Arizona -
The red rock took the pride as aura for the enlightened Buddha! #nature #sedona #buddha #peaceofmind #redrocks #placestovisit #longweekend #beautifuldestinations #traveldestination #TakeAHike #InStone -
It's a popular place, but it provides some of the most sweeping views of the main red-rock formations surrounding the town. Oh, and the flora ain't bad, either. -
Even if you’ve never been to Red Rock Crossing before, you will most likely experience a sense of déjà vu. If you have seen a photo of Sedona, you have probably seen this exact spot with the famous Cathedral Rock. Another photo of the red rocky mountains in Sedona. The most amazing sunsets. Just make sure to get their early to beat the crowds to the good spots -
Red Rock Country is one of the most popular tourists’ sites in the United States. Home of the some of the most photographed natural formations, like Cathedral Rock and Bell Rock, and featured in numerous movies, Red Rock Country is bound to leave you amazed and in awe. Numerous buttes and mesas dot the area. The centerpiece of Red Rock Country is Oak Creek Canyon, the second most popular tourist attraction in Arizona (only Great Canyon attracts more visitors per year). Oak Creek Canyon is an amazing natural wonder offering many recreational activities. Red Rock State Park features a red sandstone canyon outside the city of Sedona. It includes a 1.4-mile stretch of Oak Creek, which upstream flows through the famous Oak Creek Canyon in Coconino National Forest. The rich riparian zone along the creek supports a diverse array of species. #camping #hiking -
This was shot while hiking on a snowy, overcast morning in Sedona, Arizona. The fog adds mystery to what is seen beyond the red rocks. -
Sunset over Sedona, this whole area is so beautiful and I loved all the colours and shades of red and #blue that seem to come alive at sunset -
Day 11 - Enjoying Sedona's Red Rock State Park. -
The most amazing sunsets in Sedona. The sun sets at the far end of the valley and just lights up the red rocks and clouds above them. Just get their early to make sure you get a good spot -

Day 10 - A lovely peak at Sedona. Some locals told us this was a great spot to watch the sun setting, they weren't wrong. -

Take the short side trail to this vortex area off of Boynton Canyon trail. The 3 mile trail in the canyon is good too but we only did 1/2 of it as weather came in. Look up along the cliff walls to see dwellings. -
