1910 University Drive Boise, Idaho
Sitting on the campus of Idaho’s Boise State University, Taco Bell Arena is home to the BSU Broncos wrestling, gymnastics, and men’s and women’s basketball teams. The multi-purpose venue is considered one of the best in the West, with room for more than 13,000 fans to cheer on their team during an NCAA Basketball Tournament. You can also catch a comedy show by the likes of Jim Gaffigan and Daniel Tosh or grab a ticket to see superstars such as Katy Perry, Brad Paisley, and Maroon 5.
The event center first opened its door as the BSU Pavilion in 1982 and was renamed the Taco Bell Arena in 2004. Since then, it’s become a major player in sports and entertainment, with multiple staging options, state-of-the-art sound, and cutting-edge video screens over the court. It’s been a familiar site for early NCAA Tournament games, hosting men’s college matchups 8 times since 1983 and the women’s playoffs in 2002. The Big Dance returns for the first and second round games in 2018, and will again in 2021.
