With 9 Academy of Country Music Awards, 75 million records sold, and 25 number 1 singles on the Hot Country and Country Airplay charts, Tim McGraw is undoubtedly one of the most popular names in today’s country music. Since his self-titled debut album in 1993, McGraw has gone on to release a total of 15 studio albums, 10 of which have reached the top spot on the Top Country Albums chart. Known for his sensitive ballads and rugged charisma, McGraw has become especially beloved for the duets featuring his wife, fellow country superstar Faith Hill. Songs such as “It’s Your Love,” “Just to Hear You Say That You Love Me,” and “Like We Never Loved At All” have earned them countless awards, including 2 Grammys for Best Country Collaboration. After the release of Taylor Swift’s 2006 debut single, “Tim McGraw,” the artist earned a whole new fanbase, and those both old and new rush to get tickets to see this legendary star on tour.

Tim McGraw History & Tours

Son of former Mets and Phillies pitcher Tug McGraw, Tim McGraw originally planned to follow in his father’s footsteps and pursue a career in professional baseball. However, an injury he sustained in college prevented him from taking the path, and he later picked up the guitar and decided to pursue a career in Nashville. He signed a deal with Curb Records in 1990 and released his debut album in 1993. But he didn’t see success until his second album, Not a Moment Too Soon, and hit singles such as “Don’t Take the Girl” and “Down on the Farm.” He embarked on his first tour in 1996, and by the following year, McGraw became one of the first male singers of his generation to gain a new audience by crossing over into a more pop-country sound. He has since headlined 15 tours, 4 which have been alongside his wife Faith Hill. Their 2006 Soul2Soul II Tour became one of the highest-grossing country tours of all time. In 2018, you can get tickets to see this dynamic couple as they complete the final leg of their North American tour in cities such as Lexington, Raleigh, Des Moines, Green Bay, Salt Lake City, and Phoenix.
