Loved the tea time service before landing!
For the amount I paid for the tickets I should have gotten a free upgrade. I also had to pay for seat choice on the flight to Shannon. That does not seem fair for the amount of the ticket to pay extra to choose a seat.
The only thing that kept me from being 100% happy were the multiple emails over the months with alerts about time changes to our flights that were only minutes & affected nothing in our schedule. But the anxiety it created seemed unnecessary. I got an email rightbefore(?) or after our arrival in Londonthat made it sound like we went from a 2 to an 8 hour layover in Boston! But it turned out to be minutes again! So that is my only suggestion for improvement! All else was perfect! Thank-you!
boarding is still a scrum.
The over one hour delay that made us late for our next connection was frustrating but we realize this at times can’t be helped.
Lines were long. But went fairly well. Inside plane seats torn. Food ok. WiFi on and off. Felt stuck and very tight for such long flight. Overall was good. Not great. Staff great.
seats are hard and small but what are we to do?
After a disastrous EasyJet flight, I was nervous about a lower-priced airline. Aer Lingus has typical, reasonable service and an honest staff who don't surprise you with last-minute hidden fees.
Gate change was quite inconvenient especially having to go back thru security & distance to next gate
Frustrated with passport control and US Immigrations at Dublin. Very slow. Would have missed flight but Aer Lingus delayed departure.
