American Airlines E190 commuter jet comfortable and spacious for a smaller plane. LaGuardia Airport in NYC is probably the worst airport on the East Coast.
Every one was most helpful and friendly. The personnel went out of their way to accommodate me. It was a great flight!
Thanks for the upgrade..unless I did it, can’t remember
Lengthy wait to take off
I did not like having to walk down stairs in Washington DC for the shuttle bus and back up the stairs because I have a mild disability and there were no handicap accessibility to the tarmac for the shuttle bus. I was told my only other recourse was to walk all the way around and go through scanning again. With the short layover time the walk and going thru scanning again was not feasible so I had to struggle down the stairs and back up the stairs carrying my medical equipment on my back. Half way down the stairs one of the workers offered to help carry my equipment and on the other side I was almost to the top when some of the employees came to offer help. But in the nation's capital to have stairs that are frequently used and not have a handicap ramp or an elevator is unacceptable in today's world.
I was the first time I felet good about AA in A long long time Fly often to Montreal and the service just keeps getting deteriorating with bad service and nasty ground crew. Looking forward to see how thaT is on my trip to Canada next week. Thanks
