Description

Dive into your own aquatic adventure at the waterfront oasis of Xel-Há Park. Get up-close with tropical fish on a snorkeling adventure, explore the Yucatan jungle, or take a leap of faith into a deep blue cenote as you sample the park's 20 different activities, all framed by the turquoise waters of the Caribbean.

Start your day in the lagoon, where you can don a snorkel and mask to look for the bright yellow stripes of Angelfish or the graceful strokes of a sea turtle. With over 90 species of marine life, there's plenty to see below the surface.

Afterward, explore freshwater mangrove tunnels, float along the park's quiet river, or go for a dip in the covered Mayan Cave cenote—an enchanting natural cavernous pool. For a more thrilling experience, make your way to the Stone of Courage. Rising 15 feet (5 m) above the water, it’s the perfect perch to test your mettle with a courageous leap into the lagoon.

Consider a walk through the park's thick jungle, which boasts more than 220 species of plants and 100 varieties of birds, and then head back to the park's center to tuck into traditional Mexican cuisine, followed by a quiet snooze in one of the park's waterside hammocks. It's the perfect way to end your day in this exciting slice of the Yucatan.

This place was amazing! Will be visiting again... the only con i had during my visit was that the wifi wasn't working. I would connect but wouldn't let me go online. I kept redirecting me to the login portal (i needed wifi to keep posting more of the great time we were having)

Most people opt for Xscaret but Xel Ha is always my favorite. Relaxing with natural beauty. Easy snorkeling for kids with many fish. Many possible upgrades including snubs and dolphin encounters. Food and drink is included and I recommend the Mexican restaurant over the other two dining options.
